Welcome to the character bios page! Without further ado, let's talk about my various friends and acquaintances... If you've never seen any of the escapades me and Charlie have been though, I've gotta warn you, there are some spoilers in here...

Charlie B. Barkin

*Breed: One heck of a mutt, but mostly a German Shepherd. Heard he's also partially Irish, Siamese, and French, amongst other things.

*Pros: Has a heart of gold, charismatic

*Cons: Sinful, not always reliable

*Backstory: Charlie used to be the partial owner of a casino in an old ship, alongside a real creep named Carface. One day Carface decided to off my buddy for good…I'll never forget seeing how Carface finished him off. Seems there was an afterlife after all; Charlie arrived in heaven only to get out of there as soon as he could. Once he came back, he found me and proposed we crush Carface. One thing leads to another, and we run into some little dame named Anne-Marie who we pretty much play babysitter for. Eventually, I lose my best friend once more as he tries to save this little girl…those were rough times, knowing my friend was really dead.

When my time came a bit prematurely, Charlie insisted on leaving heaven once more. This time, he dragged me along to go and fetch some holy instrument called Gabriel's Horn. Along the way we find out we're ghosts, and Charlie drags us into yet another jam to make us physical again. After that, we run into this dog he has a crush on, Sasha, who was taking care of a human boy named David. I don't want to spoil things too much on what happened, but at the end of the adventure, I returned to heaven for a bit and Charlie and Sasha became David's pets.

Itchy Itchiford (me!)

*Breed: Dachshund (AKA 'weiner dog')

*Pros: Reliable, talented with machinery

*Cons: Easily scared…*blushes*, short legs = slow

*Backstory: I was Charlie's best friend ever since I met him at his and Carface's casino. At one point though, he ended up getting into trouble and was to be 'put to sleep' at the pound. Needless to say I busted him out. Arriving back at the casino, I ended up finding out that Charlie was going to get whacked by Carface and his gang. Despite my best efforts, I couldn't save Charlie. Needless to say, when he came back and woke me up from a nightmare that night, I freaked out. As I wrote, we eventually met Anne-Marie, yadda yadda yadda, and soon Charlie died for good. =(

My own death was caused by a big mistake: eating chicken bones. Worst thing is I was always told by my folks not to eat the bones…well, that's behind me now. Despite all of the problems we ran into, I stayed by Charlie to help him…well, a good amount of the time, at least. Wasn't there by his side 24-7, lemme tell ya. I had his new place to tend to for a good deal of time in our first big adventure…point is though, when Charlie became an official guardian angel, I agreed to help him out on his missions because he's my best friend…that and he can use all the help he can get sometimes...

Anne-Marie

*Breed: Human

*Pros: Really sweet, forgiving

*Cons: A pain in the neck sometimes

*Backstory: When we went to go check out the 'monster' Carface had against my will, we learned it was really a girl who could speak to animals. As much as I didn't want to drag her along to try and 'fix Carface for good', I didn't do much about it. Throughout our first big adventure, Anne-Marie helped us get rich big by talking to the animals who were being bet on at casinos and places of the sort to find out who'd win. Soon enough, I was able to make Charlie's new place…which eventually went up in flames after a couple of days when Anne-Marie threatened to leave for us using her. One thing led to another, and after Charlie died for real this time, Anne-Marie took care of me, and I eventually warmed up to her. *shrugs*

Flo

*Breed: Rough Collie

*Pros: Good mother

*Cons: None that I know of...

*Backstory: An old friend of Charlie's, Flo is the mother of many puppies. They lived in an abandoned church, where Anne-Marie spend some time in before we went and got her her parents. She's a nice dame, but other than that I don't have any more info on her.

Carface Carruthers

*Breed: American Pit Bull Terrier

*Pros: What pros? Well…he had a gang, and is a bit conniving...

*Cons: Even worse than Charlie can be sometimes, ruthless

*Backstory: Carface used to be Charlie's business partner until Charlie was framed and then later killed by that good-for-nothing jerk. All throughout the time we've had with Anne-Marie, Carface essentially tried to finish off Charlie and get back Anne-Marie, who he was using to fix the probabilities in the rat races in his casino for profit. Carface finally managed to find Charlie's place and beat the tar out of me, almost killing me. After I limped back to the old church where Charlie and Anne-Marie were, Anne-Marie was eventually kidnapped. In the end, I found out Carface got eaten by this huge flamboyant gator. Hah!

Carface ended up going to heaven, and once there tried to steal Gabriel's Horn, but dropped it down to earth. Imagine our surprise when we found Carface substantial and also on earth! Turns out he had this magic collar that let him be physical. I don't want to spoil too much, but let's just say that went to bite him in the rear at one point...

After I returned to earth to help Charlie as a guardian angel, it seems Carface and his crony Killer were also back and tried many times to ruin our chances of completing missions, working under a demon dog named Belladonna.

Killer

*Breed: I have absolutely no idea... not one bit...

*Pros: Loyal? Can't say he has any...

*Cons: A bit of a scaredy cat, apparently squeamish

*Backstory: Killer pretty much is Carface's biggest crony. Chances are though he's only in the bad guy career to fit in somewhere though. Sad news is, Killer would have been offed by Carface after Charlie came back to earth the first time had Killer not said he had a gun. At the end of our first adventure, Killer helps Anne-Marie get back to land after…well, don't want to spoil things once more. After that, the next time we see Killer is when we're guardian angels, but the question remains: how in the world did Killer get to San Francisco from New Orleans? That, my friends, is a mystery not even an angel like myself can answer...

Annabelle

*Breed: Angelic whippet

*Pros: Bent on goodness

*Cons: Bossy, I guess?

*Backstory: There's not a whole lot I know about Annabelle…apparently she greeted Charlie in the Hall of Judgment in heaven, and was conned by Charlie so he could escape. She also has one heck of a yelling voice, from what Charlie told me. When I finally kicked the bucket, I found out more about her: apparently she's the head angel of the dog side of heaven, and she has a demon dog cousin who looks a lot like her named Belladonna. As being an angel, she has these awesome miraculous powers, and at times bestows upon Charlie and I these things called 'miracle dog tags' which allow us one free miracle use…though the use of them, thanks to my buddy, often is for things that make the missions go awry...

Sasha La Fleur

*Breed: Irish Setter

*Pros: Dedicated, wonderful singer

*Cons: Irritable

*Backstory: When we go to a joint where Sasha is singing in our second adventure, Charlie falls for her. Little does he know Sasha has little interest in him at first, and that she's trying to earn food for this human boy who ran away from home. Needless to say, she becomes more and more trusting of Charlie and me as time goes on, and Charlie goes ahead and blows our only given miracle on giving Sasha the power to speak English. Eventually we recover Gabe's Horn and Charlie, once again, ruins things for the both of us.

Luckily though we save the day in the end, and Charlie, given an extra 20 years to live, goes to live with David and Sasha. But I dunno what happened while I was in heaven, 'cause when I returned to help out Charlie as a guardian angel, him and Sasha developed a love-hate relationship...

David

*Breed: Human

*Pros: Good at magic tricks, clever

*Cons: Eh, can't really say any...

*Backstory: So why DID David run away from home? Well, poor kid had lost his mother and he wasn't too keen on his dad having a girlfriend. That, and the fact that a baby was on the way made him feel like he wasn't loved. For the time being, Charlie insisted that David learn to live off the streets by earning money as a street performer. When things go awry though, Charlie becomes bent on making sure David gets home safely. Eventually we save the day and David manages to get home safe, and as a guardian angel Charlie helps David get into and out of some messes during the televised showing of our new careers.

Belladonna

*Breed: Demonic whippet

*Pros: What pros? She can command Carface and Killer, but...

*Cons: Her plans backfire often

*Backstory: Like Annabelle, her cousin Belladonna is an enigma. Where did she come from? And why is she so bent on corrupting Charlie? All I know about her is that she first showed up when Charlie n' me were guardian angels, and that she tried to ruin Christmas once...

Lance, "The Wonder Pup"

*Breed: The 'Beats Me' Dog…ah, such a wonderful and loyal breed, that Beats Me Dog...

*Pros: A real straight arrow

*Cons: A coward in 'real' situations

*Backstory: One day when Charlie and I were out on our guardian angel missions, this dog from heaven named Lance showed up and was there to assist us on our missions. Charlie became real jealous of him 'taking his job', and eventually he became even more jealous when I began to go along with him. I soon learned though that Lance was a bit of a wuss, and, of course, I would never let Charlie down as his best friend. As of now, I think he's still on a mission in Antarctica...

Bess (Winnifred Bessime de Winkerville)

*Breed: I dunno…wish I did though.

*Pros: Absolutely heavenly

*Cons: 102% unaware of the angelic duties Charlie and I must do

*Backstory: Not  much I want to say about her (considering I still know little about her even though we've been together for awhile), other than I consider her my girlfriend. She's quite a lovely one at that, and prefers her nickname "Bess" as opposed to her really long name.
